Apple fans race to buy £199 iPad reduced from £360 as 'limited' stock remains
Wowcher is offering more than £160 off an Apple iPad, but stock is quickly running out.
Apple fans are racing to buy an iPad that’s more than £160 off before the ‘limited’ deal runs out. The deal comes from Wowcher, which is offering the Apple iPad 9th Generation for £199.
This saves £160.99 compared to the price at IncTablet, but there are some things worth considering. The main thing to note is that the deal is for a refurbished iPad in ‘good’ condition, which means the device may have ‘minor cosmetic wear’ but is ‘fully tested and functional’.
Wowcher adds that the device has been refurbished with ‘Apple-compatible parts’, while the box and accessories it comes with may be generic. The deal is for the Space Grey edition, but stock is running low as Wowcher has flagged the deal as having ‘limited availability’ with fewer than 51 units remaining.

The iPad 9th Generation first hit the market in September 2021 and is powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip. The tech giant says this ‘makes everything responsive’, including messaging, web browsing and using multiple apps at once.
The iPad features a 10.2” IPS LED Display for a ‘crisp’ and ‘vibrant’ whether streaming or browsing the web. It also has an 8MP wide camera, 10-hour battery life, 64GB of storage and iOS 18 – the latest version of Apple’s operating system – out of the box.

There’s also a fingerprint scanner for added security. But for those happy to spend a little more, the latest entry-level iPad is on offer at Amazon.
The Apple iPad A16 – which launched in March – has fallen from £329 to £299.97 and comes with free delivery, whereas Wowcher charges £8.99 per voucher. Elsewhere, the same model is available from Sky Mobile for £10.50 when spreading the cost, an ideal option for those not looking to spend too much upfront.
This new model boasts an 11” screen, with a Liquid Retina display and ‘superfast’ A16 chip. It also comes with 128GB of storage – double that of the iPad 9th Generation – and a 12MP Centre Stage camera, which keeps users in the centre of the frame during video calls.
While there are no reviews on the Wowcher site to get an idea of service, customers have shared their experience on Trustpilot when buying second-hand tech. As one previous refurbished tablet shopper said: "The range of products are really good. I decided to purchase through Wowcher and was really glad I did."
Another person said: "Ordering was quick and easy. When it arrives will let you know. It looks ideal for my tablet/phone and a brilliant price."
When it came to redeeming the voucher process one shopper did raise a few issues, which were resolved through one part of its customer service. They said: "All WhatsApp help was very good but when reordering a tablet with credit, it gave me nowhere to reorder my gift wrap and I found all ordering info complicated.
"Also it doesn't tell you properly how to contact them and it was only when I looked up on Google, how to contact Wowcher that I found out the best way was on WhatsApp and the details were there."
