Argos and Very slash £100 off Apple Watch Series 10 line-up in rival deals
Argos and Very are cutting 100 off Apple's latest line of smartwatches that beat Amazon's own price cuts
Argos and Very are battling it out with rival sales on their Apple Watch range. Both retailers have slashed £100 off select models of Apple's smartwatches, including the most recent release, the Apple Watch Series 10.
Argos says its deals are the 'lowest price' ever offered, with a variety of Apple Watches available for the same price at Very. The main model is the Apple Watch Series 10 GPS 42mm with Jet Black Sport Band, which has seen a price drop from £399 to £299 at both Argos and Very.
Apple touts this model as having the largest display on an Apple Watch, boasting more screen area and a slimmer, lighter design. It provides a host of 'advanced' health and fitness features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking and workout tracking for activities like running, cycling and swimming.

The watch allows users to manage their personal and professional lives with real-time alerts for text messages, emails and social media, as well as the capability to make phone calls directly from the device. Other notable features include weather updates, music control, GPS and fall detection.
It also boasts faster charging that achieves 80 percent battery in approximately 30 minutes. Also included in the sale is the Apple Watch Series 10 GPS 42mm Rose Gold Light Blush (£299), which both Argos and Very have flagged as an 'in demand' item, reports the Express.

Argos has slashed £100 off its Apple Watch Series 10 range.
The final item at Argos is the Apple Watch Series 10 GPS 42mm with Jet Black Ink Sport Loop (£299), which features a robust nylon strap instead of the silicone band found on other models. Very also stocks this model, but provides customers with a broader selection of colours, including a Silver Aluminium Case with Blue Cloud Sport Loop and a Rose Gold Aluminium Case with Plum Sport Loop.
Both Argos and Very beat Amazon's own discounted price of £329, but for budget-conscious buyers, Sky Mobile provides the same devices through monthly payment plans. This allows customers to spread the cost with no upfront charge.
These range from the £7 Apple Watch SE (GPS 40mm) to the £13 Apple Watch Series 10 (GPS 42mm). Daily Express Tech Editor Dave Snelling reviewed the Series 10 last year and awarded it five stars, describing it as a 'formidable upgrade' from earlier versions.
He said: "The Series 10 is another impressive device from Apple. The bigger screen, improved charging, refreshed titanium design and bonus extras such as checking for sleep apnoea are all nice updates.
"It's also thinner and lighter than before, gets that neat ticking seconds hand when in always-on mode and it's still able to check your fitness, transform into a digital wallet and even save your life should you fall. It's now so advanced there's very little it can't do and it's become a device we now struggle to live without.
"If you have an older wearable on your wrist, it's definitely time for a change, and this device is super simple for us to recommend. Our only gripes are the lack of an Action Button and it still won't get through a weekend without needing a refill.
"If you own a Series 9 there's also not a huge reason to upgrade this year especially as that device is getting the sleep apnoea upgrade via a software update."
