Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood has given fans a glimpse into his current home renovations inside his luxurious £1.8m mansion. The 60-year-old BBC judge purchased the huge Northamptonshire abode in 2021 with his fiancé, Jonathan Myring and the pair have already built a sweeping staircase inside the house.

However, the couple appear to have even more renovation plans on the way as they took to Instagram to share some snaps. The professional dancer shared some before and after snaps of his all-white kitchen before it was torn out and left empty. However, fans are still waiting to see the finished result after Horwood confirmed it's going to take some time.

Sharing the photos with his 171k followers, Craig wrote: "After what feels like a lifetime, the renovations are finally underway. Fingers crossed our full house renovation is finished in a fortnight but it might take a smidge longer!", alongside a series of home and tool emojis.

Before it was ripped out, the enormous kitchen featured all white cabinets and grey marble counter tops with the same design on the kitchen island in the middle of the room.

One wall featured shiny grey tiles with the floor being made up of dark coloured stone tiles.

However, all of it has now been destroyed to make way for something new in the big space.

Craig's followers and fans rushed to compliment his style and wish him the best in his home renovation journey.

X-Factor star Sam Bailey exclaimed: "Wow x exciting xx hope to see you soon xx".

Another chimed in: "Awwww can't wait to see it xxx".

Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Exciting can’t wait to see it when it’s completed."

The value of Craig's sprawling seven-bed mansion is believed to have increased by £235k in the first two years of him owning it.

The Strictly judge previously discussed moving from London to the small community in Northamptonshire.

Craig spoke to Peterborough Matters in 2022 about his move to a more rural area.

He said: “I moved in October 2021 so quite recently, but it’s been a great sort of village vibe - I have not had that before.

"In London you are ignored and in Hampshire where I lived in a country property, I had a mile-long drive and I had no neighbours so it’s nice to be back in the community.

“Everyone is lovely – there's actually a pub and a shop that I can walk to, it’s absolutely great. People love to chat and interact, it feels welcoming and amazing."

Craig and his gardener fiancé, Jonathan Myring, got engaged in 2020, and are said to have plans to tie the knot in 2027.

Their renovation plans come just weeks before Craig returns to the Strictly judging panel with the BBC show set to return for its 23rd season next month.
