Boxing tonight: Live stream, ringwalk times and fight card as Jake Paul returns
Jake Paul will return to the ring on Saturday night, seven months on from his unanimous decision win over heavyweight icon Mike Tyson, and here's how you can watch
Jake Paul returns to the ring this Saturday to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, in his first boxing bout since his controversial clash with Mike Tyson last November.
The American fighter has gone 11-1 in professional boxing since making his debut in 2020 against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib. Since then, Paul has fought a host of famous faces, including Nate Diaz, Tommy Fury, Tyron Woodley and most recently, Iron Mike.
The 28-year-old has had a mixed reaction from the boxing community throughout his short fighting career, especially due to his controversial bout with 58-year-old Tyson.
Although he won via unanimous decision, the YouTuber-turned-boxer admitted that he held back in the fight against the former undisputed heavyweight world champion. Now, Paul will face another ex-champion in the form of Chavez Jr, who is the son of boxing icon Julio Cesar Sr.
The 39-year-old boasts a 54-6-1 boxing record and held the WBC middleweight title from 2011 to 2012. Recently, Chavez Jr improved to 54 wins after a unanimous decision victory over UFC star Uriah Hall.
His last loss came in June 2021, when the boxer suffered a surprising decision loss to mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva.
A win for Chavez Jr. would improve his record to 55 wins and see the Problem Child receive his first loss since February 2023, when Fury won via split decision in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, a victory for Paul would grow his record to 12-1, with his reputation in the boxing community only able to improve after his heavily criticised triumph over the aging Tyson.

Quotes corner
Jake Paul: "I don’t want any excuses. When I beat this man, all the boxing media, like you always do, are going to discredit it. I’m going to expose and embarrass him. He’s the embarrassment of Mexico. Mexico doesn’t even claim him, and he’s going to get exposed on June 28.
"They say he’s training hard. They say this is the most focused he’s ever been. Good. As he should be. People don’t realize how good I actually am, and when he feels those first few punches, he’s going to want to quit and go back to his stool."
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr: "Jake is crazy. I think he’s overrated. He hasn’t fought anybody in his life. On June 28th, he’s going to see what’s up. To start off, he’s never knocked anybody out.
"Give me one name he’s knocked out, just one. It’s like if I fought with my dad. It’s going to be a good fight. When he was born, I was already a champ."
