Boxing tonight: What time is Canelo Alvarez vs William Scull, fight card and how to watch
Canelo Alvarez will take to the ring in Saudi Arabia for the first time on Saturday, and he faces off against the undefeated William Scull in an undisputed super-middleweight bout
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will put his WBA, WBC, and WBO super-middleweight titles on the line in Riyadh when he squares off against undefeated Cuban fighter William Scull.
The iconic Mexican, who has held a plethora of world championships across four weight divisions during his reign at the sport's summit, was ranked by Ring as the world's No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter from 2019 until 2022.
Since a crushing loss three years ago to Dmitry Bivol - his first defeat coming at the hands of legend Floyd Mayweather - Canelo has retained his belts across five clashes. However, the IBF title was stripped from him last year after a failure to defend it. Cuban star Scull fought Vladimir Shishkin for the honour, and claimed it last October, and now Canelo is on the prowl, with regaining the unanimous moniker on his mind.
We bring you all you need to know ahead of the Mexican's fancied attempt at holding all four super-middleweight titles aloft again, including what time the bout begins, where to watch it, and who will star on the undercard.
What time does Canelo Alvarez vs William Scull start?
