A correction: “Woman who died on ferry sparking mass brawl 'was on way to relative's funeral'”

We incorrectly identified as a woman who had died on a ferry en route to Ireland.

In our online article entitled “Woman who died on ferry sparking mass brawl 'was on way to relative's funeral'”, 28 February 2025, we included photographs of the wrong person, who we incorrectly identified as a woman who had died on a ferry en route to Ireland, Mary Cash.

The photographs have since been removed from the article and we sincerely apologise for the error.
