Dunelm shoppers rave over £22 cooling pillows that are 'lovely and plump'

Getting a full night's rest is important for our mental and physical wellbeing. But it can be difficult to achieve when the warm weather is keeping us up throughout the night.
In order to combat this, many retailers are supplying their shoppers with cooling solutions that will hopefully make going to sleep a bit easier. This ranges from tower fans and blackout blinds to cooling bedding and pyjamas.
Homeware retailer Dunelm currently has a variety of popular items available to help keep customers cool at night. One of which is the Fogarty Pack of 2 Temperature Balance Side Sleeper Pillows which retails for £22.

Crafted with a polyester hollowfibre filling, these Temperature Balance Pillows were designed to allow users to experience the perfect balance of comfort and coolness throughout the night. Said to offer a firm support, these pillows were designed with side sleepers in mind but they can be used by anyone.
To provide the cooling effect, these pillows feature a soft polyester cover that is treated with Hyrdrocool technology which will absorb any moisture and keep the user's temperature regulated. Dunelm says that this should 'keep you comfortably cool throughout the night'.
Providing a perfect balance between cooling and comfort, these pillows provide a firm support while also featuring Hydrocool technology to help regulate your body temperature throughout the night.
Also designed to retain a plump fullness and offer an incredibly light feel, these pillows are machine washable. However, the homeware retailer does warn that they are not suitable for tumble drying or ironing.
For a slightly higher price, Dunelm is also selling the Gel Fusion Memory Foam Back Sleeper Pillow for £45. This pillow features a soft yet supportive memory foam filling with pressure point relief, along with a quilted cover that includes a removable gel pad to help regulate your body temperature.
Alternatively, Amazon is selling the Slumberdown Climate Control Super Support Pillows 2 Pack for the reduced price of £20.30 (RRP £25.99). With over 41,000 ratings, these pillows include breathable temperature fibres to prevent overheating during the night.
Back to the Fogarty Temperature Balance Pillows, they currently have a 4.1 star rating from Dunelm shoppers, with many describing them as comfortable and cool.
One happy shopper wrote: "Cool, comfortable pillows, I am not waking in the night due to being too hot anymore."
While another five-star reviewer added: "I'm really impressed with the comfort of these pillows vs the price. No more sore neck! The pillow needs space to be fully effective so avoid putting them into a very snug pillowcase or you may find the pillow too high."
However, not everyone was pleased with their purchase. One person said: "A nice quality pillow, but as a side sleeper I didn't feel it lived up to the expectation of improved sleep it implied. It is also a little too firm."
While another grumbled: "When I first purchased these they were so comfy and supportive but as time has gone on they haven’t kept their plumpness and are very flat."
Despite this, a top reviewer said the pillows are "a pleasure to lie on", before adding: "These pillows are just what it says on the tin! Firm and cool."
A sixth customer also noted: "Excellent pair of pillows. Extremely comfortable, lovely and plump and stay in shape. Very pleased with my purchase, and excellent price. Certainly recommend the purchase."
