Free Galaxy Chromebook up for grabs in limited Samsung S25 Edge deal
A freebie has been rolled out as part of this handy tech deal
The Galaxy S25 Edge, one of Samsung's latest mobiles, was launched a few months ago, much to the anticipation of Android fans. The phone has a plethora of new and enhanced features aimed at simplifying users' lives, including an ultra-thin design, AI capabilities, and a generous 256GB of storage.
In the current market, many customers choose to spread the cost of a mobile over a contract period. Mobiles.co.uk is offering a fantastic deal where buyers of the S25 Edge will receive a laptop completely free of charge.
Customers who select contracts with certain network providers, such as ID Mobile and Vodafone, will be gifted a complimentary Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go. This offer applies to 24-month contracts at various price points, with upfront costs applicable. Samsung states this freebie is only available until October 2, 2025, and must be claimed via their website, reports the Express.

Shoppers can get a free Galaxy Chromebook Go (2021 edition) when choosing selected S25 Edge mobile phone contract deals from Vodafone and ID Mobile.

From 1 April 2026, the contract price will rise to £31.49, and the following April, it will increase to £32.99. The contract benefits include 5GB of data, unlimited texts and minutes, and data in 50 overseas destinations - not to mention the free Chromebook.

There are other notable deals worth mentioning. For example, customers who prefer to purchase a phone outright can save £350 on Google's Pixel 9 at Amazon. Originally priced at £999, it's now on sale for £649. This offer has been launched ahead of Google's Pixel 10 launch, which is set to take place at the tech giant's Made By Good event on 20 August.
Meanwhile, EE has slashed the price of several contract deals for the iPhone Pro 16. The cheapest 24-month contract is now just £31 per month, down from £37, and includes unlimited data, texts and minutes.
Earlier this year, The Express's Deputy Technology Editor, Henry Burell, got his hands on the S25 Edge ahead of its official launch. In his review, he commented: "It is thin! Samsung has delivered on the promise of a much narrower phone. The Edge's body is just 5.8mm thick - that's slimmer than the regular S25's 7.2mm, the S25 Plus's 7.3mm and the S25 Ultra's 8.2mm."
He also highlighted some drawbacks, adding: "But with a large QHD 6.7-inch display, very similar to the one on the S25 Plus, the S25 Edge is a little hard to hold in one hand. Though it's amazing Samsung has crammed all the componentry into the shrunken body, one thing it can't slim down is the cameras."
First-time customers at mobiles.co.uk can find reviews and ratings of its service on Trustpilot, where there are more than 17,000 customer comments. One shopper said: "Good price, easy ordering process, and a swift delivery."
Another customer added: "A fantastic deal for an upgrade of my Vodafone SIM only 12-month contract. A much better price than the same bundle from any other provider, with the added benefit of being simple to understand and claim cashback. The order process is simple, and communications are clear. Why buy anywhere else?".
Several users flagged problems with the scheduled delivery option, with one person writing: "Ordered for the phone to be delivered on a Monday, but it turned up on Sunday morning. Luckily, I was at home in the morning."
A fourth customer remarked: "Quick and easy placement for the order. Along with the next day delivery - well impressed."
The final shopper said: "Having had issues with my previous company, I decided to try mobiles.co.uk. So far, they have been quick on delivery and beat the price of everyone else. So far, I have had no issues.
