George Galloway

WE would like to correct an article which appeared on this site on February 20, 2016.

Following our article "Hundreds storm out of an anti-EU rally over George Galloway's 'anti-Semitic remarks'" in which, in addition to the above, it was reported that George Galloway talked about Iran instead of the EU deal, we now accept that these allegations were incorrect. Mr Galloway did not make any remark that could be considered anti-Semitic and only mentioned Iran in a passing reference to countries he would wish Britain to trade with if Britain left the EU. We apologise to him for these errors.
