Google Pixel 10 range includes upgrades, high-end designs and new colours
Google has announced its latest flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL
Google has unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The devices bear a striking resemblance to last year's Pixel 9 series but offer notable but minor upgrades across the board.
They flaunt high-end designs with eye-catching new colours including a fetching indigo, the new Google Tensor G5 chipset across the board, brighter displays, and seven years of software support until 2032.
Not to mention magnetic Qi2 wireless charging (dubbed Pixelsnap, as MagSafe is Apple's brand name). The phones introduce Google's Material 3 Expressive design language for Pixels.

It is claimed this makes your device more personalised, with customisation options, large icons and vibrant colours throughout the Android 16 software.
Google also launched a folding Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Pixel Watch 4, available in two sizes. And the tech firm went to town on artificial intelligence (AI) features, as these new phones are packed to the rafters with them.
The primary new tool is called Camera Coach, which uses AI to assist you in taking better photos in the camera app with framing and composition suggestions.
AI is also utilised to enhance image quality when you zoom beyond 30x with Pro Res Zoom on the Pro models. Additionally, across all handsets, just like previous Pixels, you'll find Best Take and Add Me features.
These features alter reality to showcase the finest facial expressions from a series of shots, or include the photographer in the final image by capturing them in the identical location afterwards.
A brand-new system-wide feature within Google applications called Magic Cue offers "proactive contextual suggestions" according to Google, with on-screen text directing you towards a probable next step.
An example of this is showing your forthcoming flight details from Gmail in the Phone app if the Pixel 10 recognises you're speaking to that particular airline.
Or, recommending to share the information via text if a stored contact requests your flight details in Google Messages.
The standard Pixel 10, which begins at £799, boasts three rear cameras including a 5x optical telephoto lens for the first time on the entry-level variant.
Some tech heads will observe that this comes at the expense of a hardware reduction to the main and ultra-wide cameras, which fall short of those on the previous Pixel 9.

The 10 Pro is priced at £999 for a 128GB model, while the 10 Pro XL starts at a hefty £1,199 but does come with 256GB.
