Gordon Luke - An apology

Our article of 15 July headlined "First picture of 'legend' biker killed in horror crash near Loch Awe" incorrectly reported that Gordon Luke, from Glasgow, was the victim of the fatal A85 motorcycle accident in Loch Awe on Sunday 13th July.

This was a separate incident, and Mr Luke was in fact the victim of the fatal motorcycle accident on Loch Lomond the previous day on Saturday 12th July.

We understand that our article also included an incorrect police incident number, and reported Mr Luke's age incorrectly.

We would like to correct the record and sincerely apologise to Mr Luke's family for these errors.
