The brilliance of Josh Taylor might not be fully appreciated until he hangs up his gloves.
But the Tartan Tornado is hell-bent on showing us his career is far from over.
The first-ever British fighter to unify a division moves from 140lbs to make his welterweight debut in Glasgow's Hydro against battle-hardened Ekow Essuman.
Taylor has made a career of seeking out challenges and it's no different in Essuman – a tough opponent for a fighter itching to rebound from two straight defeats to Teofimo Lopez and rival Jack Catterall.
The 34-year-old is adamant there is still more to come from him in his new weight division as he aims to set himself up for money-spinning showdowns in the final years of his boxing career.
Taylor knows there can be no slip-ups tonight against the man known as the Engine as there is no chance the Scot can take the foot off the gas.

Essuman reacts to his big win!
I'd like to first of all say a big well done to Josh Taylor, I've always respected him, he's a great fighter. I've gone into the away corner in the lions' den. Thank you so much to everyone for having me.
I remember things from a long time ago, and we sparred a lot a GB, I put a lot of those things into this fight. I adjusted [from the early rounds] and did what I had to do
That is a sobering night
Taylor started like a Tornado but each passing round raised more questions.
Poor in-fighting, decision making and an uneven gas tank leaves Taylor with few options.
If you're being honest, that is four straight defeats as this writer believed Catterall romped the first fight.
A national hero, one of the best in his prime, is now a pale imitation of the fighter he once was.

Taylor wins TKO Round 8
The Tartan Tornado has looked well short on his explosive best in his last three fights having admitted to weight issues. But moving up to 147kg should hopefully allow him to unleash the full force of his power and kick-start a career that has been teetering towards a worrying slump.
