Inside Rangers' attempts to sell seven player bomb squad as Igamane to Lille insider breaks cover
The club are looking to clear the decks with the clock ticking down to the September 1 deadline
Rangers boss Russell Martin has made it clear that as many as seven players could be shown the door before the window closes.
The countdown is on until September 1 and after the draw with St Mirren, Martin revealed that players that had been left out of the squad could be moved on.
That is apart from Hamza Igamane - who is in the middle of a transfer storm after the Ibrox boss claimed he refused to come off the bench due to injury in the clash in Paisley.
After seeing a loan offer for the Moroccan kicked out by Rangers last week the Ligue 1 side are set to follow it up with a £9million bid.
But Lille president Olivier Letang appears to be playing transfer poker in the press when asked about Igamane. He told French media: "We're not ruling out an opportunity up front, but our focus is more on defence."
Martin also confirmed that Cyriel Dessers is facing an uncertain future. AEK have seen a bid rejected this summer and interest is spiking in Italy.
L’Arena report that the striker is of interest to Hellas Verona - but only want to loan in the Nigeria international. The Light Blues are said to be pushing for a permanent exit.
Nedim Bajrami hasn't been seen since being hooked at half-time against Alloa despite scoring in the Premier Sports Cup and the Albanian was dropped from the Champions League squad.
Albanian outlet Telesport report that Bajrami's agent is in talks with "several clubs" with Udinese among the interested parties.
Oscar Cortes also doesn't feature in the European squad - with the 21-year-old only making three appearances this season. But it appears Martin has seen enough after dropping him against the Paisley Saints.
The Glasgow giants face a challenge to move on the winger for the £4million they paid out to Lens - with the Colombian posting a cryptic social media message.
After missing out in Sunday's draw, he posted on his Instagram story, sharing a bible verse of Psalm 126:5 in Spanish, along with a message.
The text translates as "God will honour you. He will honour your waiting, your persistence. God will make every seed of faith you planted amidst tears blossom."
The bible verse reads: "Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy."
Clinton Nsiala is also exploring his options with The Rangers Review reporting that the centre-back is now training with the under-19 side.
It is noted the 21-year-old had been tracked by clubs in Germany, France and England as well as Club Brugge last season.
Leon King is in a similar position having saw a loan switch to Wycombe Wanderers collapse earlier this summer.
Rabbi Matondo had his loan spell at Hannover 96 cut short through injury last season - but has yet to resurface at Ibrox this term.
The Welsh winger appears to be surplus to requirements but will have the chance to make his case to Martin when he returns from his knee injury.
