Sodastream with lots of top flavours is 'favourite kitchen gadget' as it drops to £56
'We mostly use it for sparkling water, but it’s saved us a fortune on fizzy drinks in general.'
Everyone has a go-to fizzy drink that they enjoy from time to time. But many of us try to limit how often we buy them, as the cost can quickly pile up - and so can bottle after bottle of plastic around your home.
Thankfully, there is a kitchen gadget on the market that will let households enjoy some tasty fizzy drinks while also saving themselves some extra money in the long run.
The Sodastream is normally associated with turning still water into sparkling for those who prefer it. However, some people may not know that this device also comes with flavourings that will create a few popular fizzy drinks.

For those who are intrigued, now is the best time to buy a Sodastream as Amazon has slashed the price of the Terra Black edition from £109.99 down to £55.99 in a limited time deal.
Ideal for creating soft drinks while also reducing your carbon footprint, the Sodastream is easy to use and will provide tasty drinks in no time. Simply place the water bottle into the device and press the button as many times as you would like to get the best level of fizz.

Able to turn tap water into delicious carbonated drinks, the portable and cordless device is must have for the kitchen. Shoppers can also buy a range of flavours to recreate their favourite fizzy drinks.
Delivered with a gas cylinder that is easy to connect to the device, this is said to provide up to 60 litres of sparkling refreshments before it needs to be replaced. The Sodastream also comes with the added bonus of not needing to be plugged in, so it can be easily transported around your kitchen without any fuss.
In terms of flavours, Amazon has slashed the price of six 440ml bottles of orange mix down from £29.94 to £25 and a pack of their own ginger ale down to £21.31. Shoppers can also get a multipack which includes Pepsi Max, Pepsi Max Cherry, Pepsi Max Lime and a 7UP Free for £19 (RRP £23.96). All of these bottles will provide up to 9L of juice.
Alternatively, shoppers can buy the BIBO Sparkling Water Maker from Amazon for £54.99. Equipped with four fizz levels, shoppers will be able to customise their drink to perfection. The water bottle included with the device is also BPA-free and reusable.
Over on Debenhams, shoppers can now buy the Geepas 900ML Sparkling Water Maker Soda Machine for the reduced price of £44.99 (RRP £66.99). This device claims to make perfect bubbles in just two to three seconds. However, it does not come with a CO2 cylinder.
Back to the Sodastream, it currently had a 4.7 star rating on Amazon from over 2,300 customers, with over 1,000 people snapping up the device in the last month.
One delighted shopper wrote: "Wasn’t sure if we’d actually use this much, but now we’re totally hooked. Super easy to set up — literally just click the gas canister in and you're good to go. The Terra version doesn’t need to be plugged in, so it just lives on our kitchen counter without taking up too much space or needing a power point.

"The fizz is decent too — you can control how fizzy you want it which is a nice touch. I usually go for two presses and it’s perfect. We mostly use it for sparkling water, but it’s saved us a fortune on fizzy drinks in general. Also feels a bit better than constantly buying plastic bottles."
However, one shopper did complain about the delivery, writing: "It was easy to use as I took a look on YouTube for instructions. The Soda Stream instructions I had delivered was in 100% German. The box all in German. The product warnings on the bottle was in German. Got a bulk deal in German Soda Streams?"
While another person wanted more variety in the flavours: "Only gripe is the lack of choice in terms of flavoured syrups. We don't really like Pepsi brand drinks and the own brand Sodastream tonic, ginger ale etc. are not great either. Would prefer Coke zero and a branded tonic e.g. Fevertree. Hope they expand the range at some point."
Despite this, another five-star reviewer wrote: "Wish we had bought one of these earlier rather than buying the plastic bottles from the supermarket. It is very easy to use and it looks ok on the kitchen counter.
"The gas cylinders are easy to fit and we are able to buy a replacement canister at Rymans in the town centre which works out cheaper. The fizz in the bottles lasts a few days before going flat. Excellent product."
With a fifth shopper adding: "One of our favourite kitchen gadget purchases. Sleek and minimalist design. So easy to use. We have even taken it with us to cocktail parties as it’s so easy to transport. Low maintenance and canisters last a while! This came with one bottle which is all we needed as a couple."
Amazon has slashed 49 per cent off the Terra Black Sodastream.
